Volcanic rock, thickets of California scrub oak and mahogany-colored Manzanita, and warm Sonoma sunshine provide the perfect backdrop for your activity. Or simply relax with a little inactivity.

Complimentary Activities around the Ranch

Hike the Ranch – Mayacamas Ranch hiking trails range from easy to intermediate and amble through chaparral, redwood forests and over craggy lava rock. The natural flora is fragrant and wildlife is ever present.

Mayacamas RanchPaddle a Canoe – our exclusive, secluded Hidden Lake features a picnic area, hiking trails and two canoes. Fishing for bass in the lake is also permitted so long as it’s catch and release.

Connect By Campfire – Mayacamas Ranch was once a gathering center for the Wappo Native Americans where they conducted ceremonies, rituals and rites of passages. Reflect and connect with your group around the campfire while gaining new perspectives under the stars. Our staff will arrange all the kindling and supplies for celebrating and story telling.

Hilltop Pool – Surrounded by 360 degree views of Mt. St. Helena and the Mayacamas Mountains, take in some of the most breathtaking views in the wine region while lounging and swimming in our saline pool. Festive gatherings can also be arranged poolside.

Adjacent to the pool is our relaxing hot tub. Its powerful jets make it an ideal spot to unwind from the day and enjoy the starry skies.
